Realising Your Potential Is The Key To Your Success

 

You don't have to be a fitness junkie to understand or feel the benefits of incorporating fitness into your life. It's not about how you look, how much you lift, what you train or why you do it… It’s about building a fit and healthy body that will make you feel mentally and physically strong!

Everyone has their own battles, but one thing is for sure, when you step foot into the gym, you are dedicating time to building a better you, inside and out! I don't do what I do to create a million bikini bodies... My mission is to help people realise their full potential in life and show you that fitness really is the key to your success. Picture the gym as a practice zone for the real world, it's hard...mentally & physically.

It saddens me to see people self sabotage themselves in the smallest ways, mostly with negative self talk, such as, "I can't lift that weight", "I don't think I cant hold it for 15 more seconds", " I'll never be able to do that exercise". If it is one thing that I KNOW as your coach, it is that YOU CAN do all of the above things that you just said you couldn't or didn't think you could do!! The only thing stopping you from doing it is YOU!

For me personally, it was the gym (and the amazing people in my life have helped shape the person that I am today. As my physical strength improved so did my mental strength! Years ago I would stand in the back row of a dance audition because I was convinced I wasn't going to get picked for the solo, but before I knew it I was dragged to the front and be told the solo was mine! I'd look at fitness competitors and say, "I'd never have to ability to do what they do to get on stage". In my first attempt competing in a fitness competition I placed 1st in my first ever competition. Years ago I'd say...wouldn't it be amazing to be the face of Lorna Jane "an impossible dream"...then I woke up with my picture in Lorna Jane windows across Australia!

It doesn't matter what you do, it doesn't matter what your goals are, but it DOES matter to me that people understand their own potential! When you step foot into the gym, it's your world. Stop doubting what you can do, block out the negative mindset and practice being a BOSS. If you could hold that plank for another 15secs...despite you telling yourself you couldn't... Then what else can you do?
